Saw the movie tonight, I went to a 7 PM show and it was just shy of 10PM when I got out.
This movie is the energizer bunny of movies, non-stop action that felt like being on a roller coaster ride.I was concerned about the large cast that this movie was scheduled to have but they balanced that aspect pretty well. I liked how they matched up some of the characters.
There is only one extra scene at that comes up after the credits end. There is something at the very end of that scene that some people in the theater got and some did not. I didn't get it so if someone goes to see the movie and understands the last part of that scene, please email me and explain it to me.
I saw it in a large theater with a very enthusiastic crowd. Everyone clapped as the movie started and at times when certain characters showed up on screen the first time. Lots of humor, some OMG moments. For sure there will be a sequel.
I definitely plan on seeing it again. There is so much going on in this movie that it is hard to catch it all with one viewing.

(43,870 posts)... Some Marvel movie fans have become like Trump voters. They're singing it's praises no matter how big of a trainwreck it is.
And now to quote a famous Marvel character: FLAME ON!

(25,926 posts)The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi were trainwrecks (although Rogue One was pretty good), but some fans are trying desperately to find praises to sing.
I know a lot of people were looking for a good Star Wars movie, but to paraphrase a famous Star Wars character: This did not go the way they thought!

(37,748 posts)You chose poorly. Believing the subjective is in fact, objective will lead you into all sorts of dark waters of logical fallacies accuraltey illustrating the limits of your education.
And it appears you swim even more poorly than you choose.
But I get it... if we can't make fun of people for what they like, we're forced to engage in introspection-- and little fellas like you have a tough time with mirrors.
(Now... pretend your bias is anything but and dig in deeper-- you'll look even more clever!)

(37,748 posts)Oddly enough, Trump's disasters can be objectively measured, unlike your editorial lacking evidence to support it at all.
I do like your closing desire for self-martyrdom... it gives you the opportunity to be both relevant and noticed. Hope you get the hugs you require. Bless your little heart.

has caught up with the imagination and fortunately Marvel put one guy in charge that knows what people want...his vision...is to give the fans what they want...
unfortunately with DC they are trying to make citizen kane with capes...their movies may resonate with a few people but not with the masses that love the MCU and are willing to lay down their dollars...
I finally saw Justice League Movie on DVD and it was Ok....ok is not good enough for the big boys...

(56,829 posts)and, it was better than I thought it would be, but still not great.
Wonder Woman was so good because I thought they while it was a serious movie, the people making the movie realized it was based on a comic book hero, so did not lose that sense of joy & wonder kids would get when first reading comic books. I think the other DC movies have taken themselves too seriously.

(56,829 posts)I grew up as a nerdy outsider that read comic books and played Dungeons & Dragons and lived for even hints of Sci Fi and Fantasy on TV when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s - Wonder Woman, the 6 Million Dollar Man, the Bionic Woman, reruns of the original series of Star Trek and more. Not to mention Nicholas Hammond as Spider-Man and Bill Bixby as The Hulk as well, even though I knew as a tween and early teen that they weren't the best shows.
(That said, I did not like the first Star Trek movie, nor the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve)
So, now that comic book movies (as well as Fantasy like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and more) are huge events, I have to pinch myself every time a new one comes out. Heck, Marvel can even make a billion dollars out of a 2nd tier hero like Black Panther and half a billion on a 3rd tier hero like Ant Man...

(2,692 posts)DC is fumbling in the dark with a team of executive suits in charge while Kevin Feige singular vision at Marvel is having the time of their lives...they keep trying to make a reality based comic movie...and just botching their characters...while Marvel Puts this out...
DC should take a hint and do a fantasy based retro movie of the doom patrol with character that look and act like THE DOOM PATROL...then branch out from there Superboy with krypto! etc etc...what they are doing now just isnt good enough
