I am documenting a problem that I want to share via photos with city officials and want to provide them and some members of the media a link to them as I think their email system would likely kick off any attached jpgs.
I need to post about 20 photos total and keep them up at least six weeks (longer if possible)
Thoughts?

(34,137 posts)And some of the domain registrars will give you free space if you keep the registration with them.
Here is a sort of tutorial with reviews of some domain registrars:

For instance, when I originally registered my domain names I used GoDaddy.com which offered free web space. Back then, and probably now, for most users it was recommended to keep the domain registration separate from the host so my site is hosted by LunarPages.com. Lunarpages offers far more than I really need - commercial level services - but I have been happy with their reliability and their costs are reasonable so I see no reason to relocate my web site.
Another way to do it is to set up a blog - some blog sites are free, you can load photos and link to them. Blogspot is the most commonly used free site. Here is a tutorial for it: https://www.shoutmeloud.com/how-to-start-a-free-blog-using-blogspot-com.html
For a temporary posting of a few photos, a blog on Blogspot may be your best option.

(33,643 posts)Activate plug-in with button on your chrome address bar, then highlight photos in the file directory, click and drag them to your browser, and bam they upload to imgur. You still have to gather their links by right-clicking the photos once they're uploaded but it's still quite handy.

It's free and once you've created an account and user name/profile, you can post photos and access everyone's photos as well as your own. (Don't post anything on there that you wouldn't want to share.)

The two I recommended are what I use for sharing photos for work (only within my organization). Both can be uploaded via smartphone app.
Both are also free for the lowest tier service. You need a google account (gmail) to use google drive, but not for Dropbox. If you need a dropbox referral (additional space), send me a PM.

I'd also look into Instagram.
