Dogs just like to sniff butts...and genitals - they must pick up a lot of info about another critter doing that. But I think this dog is also just playfully harassing the kitten.

There was a great “Dont tutch the but!” DUlounge thread many years ago. A DUer’s kid drew a picture of a cat butt with those words written on the drawing. LOL! 😀😁😃
