To me auto-correct is just a bane. I'm just obsessive enough that I avoid most misspellings and DAMNIT sometimes I want to type something non-standard, damnit don't correct me when I actually know what I'm typing!
*searches way to permanently disable auto-correct*

(43,049 posts)It turned itself on with an upgrade and drove me nuts. The predictive thing isn't bad when you can choose the word, and mine gives a short list, so I use it.
What really drives me up a wall now is the new(?) keyboard where you have to click multiple times for a letter. Maybe I'll try Swiftkey again if I can't find something in the settings. Tried an earlier version and it had problems.
