Who's smarter: Tony Stark or Sherlock Holmes...?

...for some reason, this question started buzzing around in my skull when thinking about the latest Avengers film, and Robert Downey. If Sherlock could be brought back from 1890--or Tony dropped back there--and they faced off, who wins? My money is on Sherlock...

Sherlock wins then, Stark wins now, although Stark would have an edge in Sherlock's time that Sherlock would not have in Stark's time. Stark knows everything about Sherlock's time period, whereas Sherlock knows nothing of Stark's time period.
