Never was their a greater album of 'Angry Chick Music' than "Jagged Little Pill" by Alanis Morissette. This was not her first album, she actually had a short career as a Canadian Pop star for the tweeners around 1990. So when Jagged Little Pill came out, Alanis ditched the cutsie look and turned into this angry woman ready to tell the world 'Fuck you' thru her music.
Jagged Little Pill (or JLP) was a masterpiece- a talented singer, with great lyrics and great sound. The album exploded on the charts with the first single - "You Oughta Know", Alanis ode to the man who fucked her over for another woman. The world went Alanis Morissette crazy and the question everyone was asking was this - 'Who was Alanis singing about?' Although most people say it was about David Coulier, former star of the TV sitcom "Full House" and former boyfriend to Alanis, to this day we still don't know who she was singing about. In 2008 Coulier says it was about him but Alanis has never confirmed that it was.

However, in October 2008, Morissette reiterated her refusal to identify the subject, commenting to a CanWest News Service journalist,
"Well, I've never talked about who my songs were about and I won't, because when I write them they're written for the sake of personal expression. So with all due respect to whoever may see themselves in my songs, and it happens all the time, I never really comment on it because I write these songs for myself, not other people." [4]
Other celebrities have been rumored to be the lover in the song, including: Bob Saget, Coulier's co-star on Full House;[3] Mike Peluso hockey player for the New Jersey Devils and previously for the Ottawa Senators in 1992-93;[3] Matt LeBlanc, the actor who appeared in the video for Morissette's single "Walk Away" in 1991;[3] and Leslie Howe, a musician and the producer of Morissette's first two albums in the early 1990s.[3]
Other great songs from the album include:
