Any fans of the Comedy Bang Bang TV show?

WAS on IFC, IS on Netflix (5 seasons).

There is also an audio podcast but I prefer the visuals.

My favorite recurring bit is Paul F. Tompkins as Andrew Lloyd Weber:

Reggie Watts was the "sidekick" for the first four seasons, Kid Cudi came on board for Season 5. He did OK but Watts took a major portion of the show's mojo with him.

When I watched the pilot episode I was appalled at the lighting, thought Scott Aukerman's jokes were lame , Reggie's music was so odd and was feeling that I was wasting my time. And then out of nowhere there was a visual of these insane animated cats Scott encountered in lava field and the total absurdity caused me to involuntarily blurt out a huge laugh. I was hooked from that point forward.

When a show gets me to laugh so hard I cry at least once an episode, it is a keeper. Comedy Bang Bang is awesome.

The episode with Chris Hardwick had him and Scott going on about which of them was the more successful comedian. A web site address was casually mentioned. I checked it out and got the payoff to the joke.

There are not a lot of shows out there that have interactive jokes.
