Just had a vanilla almond matcha latte. Called Macha Matcha and comes

in a powder in a variety of flavours from the healthfood store. My new favourite drink. Does anyone drink matcha? Is their caffeine in it? It says it has many more times antioxidants than green tea.

It is made from a holly plant that is native to South America. It is served with a straw.

I haven't heard of Matcha until this thread, but it sounds interesting. It is an Asian tea made from the traditional tea plant (green and black tea) that has been grown in the shade. Growing it in the shade changes the chemical composition. I'm gonna give it a try!
