3 years ago, Saturday, my neighbor was murdered.

I posted about it at the time, and several times since.

The police told us a MONTH after the murder, that they suspected it was someone in the neighborhood.

But, three years on, no arrest has been made.

RIP Allison. You are not forgotten.

That’s so tragic! It must be very unsettling for you and your neighborhood that there’s been no resolution.

Someone I didn't know was murdered near my home years ago, by a neighbor's son. I didn't want to thread-jack, but just wanted you to know I get how something like this happening in your neighborhood is deeply unsettling and shocking. I moved away years ago, but some sight or sound will still bring it all back instantly. I can't imagine the added fear of not knowing who did it. I hope the police find out who killed Allison to bring peace and closure.

A classmates older
sister and her prom date were murdered .
That was in the 60s.
I remember everything.
Everyone was flipping out..
When a double murder was still a big deal.
You never forget.

My father's neighbor was murdered some years ago. She was a widow who lived alone and her house was set well behind my father's. I was kind of freaked out thinking it could have been my father, but then it turned out to be some dirtbag she worked with who thought she had money. Freaky in a whole 'nother way!
