7. I was getting bored with it Burnham especially. SPOILERS

The constant scenes of her lamenting were getting tiresome. The alternate universe of the terran empire gave me hope for the series.

Discovery warps into a cave inside kronos WHOA

Then a hail from NCC-17.. You knew it was the enterprise, how cool seeing it drop out of warp in front of discovery!

Now two years before the forbidden trip to Talos 4, will we see Captain Pike and Mr. Spock?

Will sign up for CBS on Demand for 1 month and binge watch. Maybe also watch "The Good Fight", the Good Wife spin off. Have been a treky since day one.

11. The first season is complete.

The first few episodes are a bit rough, but as the season progresses it becomes easier to connect with the characters. As the season progresses there are some plot twists that explain what happens in the earlier episodes. It has more of an epic feel similar to DS-9 or the third season of Enterprise. It would be easy to binge watch over a weekend since it is about 15-16 hours with advertisements and about 12-13 hours without ads.

12. I'm surprised

there hasn't been more media coverage of the new X-Files. The local channel we get it on at moms got struck from dish network. Couldn't believe it. Any input on that new series?
