Sixteen degrees in Boulder County, Colorado with around four inches of snow. It feels colder. The snow came last night but it's still cloudy. I did manage to shovel but now I need to go to the store and I don't want to leave my cozy bed.

In North Bay (Sonoma County)
It's been in the 80s-- ugh
Snow pack in Sierras 14% of normal
Lots of people are loving the weather but I remind them we get nine months of sunny days and that we have only a few "rain months"-- we're halfway into the "rainy season," and doing abysmally on that score. (No rain between April and October usually)
And last year we were deluged with rain
So... bah humbug!!!
Laffy Kat
(16,388 posts)It's gonna be a dry summer, I'm afraid. We've already received warnings from the township about watering during the summer months.

Its kind of scary knowing this weather is due to warming Oceans. I am a substitute teacher and a third grader commented to me that this is global warming is scary this little 8 year old child is smarter than most rethuglicans.

(1,979 posts)outside Orlando - it had to be in the 80's today. It was hot enough to lay out and get a sunburn and we had to have the a/c on! Beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds.
This is why I moved to Florida
Now though, I can feel a weather system coming in tonight - bones are aching. We will probably get whatever is out there moving this way sometime tomorrow.
Have a great Saturday evening everyone!

Thats good for SOCAL and the mudslides that are sure to happen in the fire ravaged areas, but in farm country its going to be trouble. I think last years record rains got everyone in the drought is over wagon but it rages on in reality.

Is it all mountain driving? .. . Will I fall off a cliff or something going there , or it it an easy drive in a rental for a flatlander ?
Gold county so I'm thinking lot of hills , not mountains . Like there's gold in them hills
I'm not going up into the forest just the towns of Sonora and Columbia college but I see further east of there the roads close in winter so I wasn't sure of just going into towns
I once rented a small auto car for some driving somewhere I really needed something like a Jeep
