Many videos of people singing the song on youtube. I find the simple one with church and the girls in oldtime dresses the most pleasing.
What is your experience?

(63,914 posts)She had expressly requested it. I was helping her in the wedding music for her outdoor wedding on Cape Cod. We hired a spring quartet. I still havea copy of her calligrophied wedding ceremony project.
I loved that wedding beyond belief. I still have the photos and a copy of her calligrophied wedding program.

(1,604 posts)We also had The Rainbow Connection, which made for an interesting set.Simple Gifts is easily one of my favorite pieces, and besides the Copland version, Yo yo ma did an absolutely heartbreaking rendition on the bass.

(63,914 posts)We had a string quartet play the music. They did a 3 preludes which included Sheep May Safely Graze by Bach and Air from the Water Music by Handel. It was lovely...
