1. Don't know about Bad Karma. It does give me bad gas. Especially if I have it with brats and beer.

I guess they don't believe in karma, they believe that if god loves them they will be blessed/rich.

Personally, I find it one of the most disgusting behaviors/feelings. My understanding is that it is finding joy in the suffering of others. Especially if the person suffering is well-off or usually lucky.
