Driving w/the denbots, Thank you to the People of New Orleans. (Photo Heavy)

My wife retired and hopped on my truck to see some of the country. We stopped in New Orleans last Thursday, and after another wonderful meal, we are waiting to load out to the frozen wastes of Wisconsin..

Never have I eaten so well. Food porn is looked down on here, but I had to mention the Sea Food Cheese Cake from the Cresent City Brew House.

It ain’t just about food, it’s also about Jazz.

History too.

Madam Marie Laveau’s (The Voodoo Queen of New Orleans) reputed burial site.

Revolutionary War Veteran Francois de Verges de St Sauveur buried in the Villere Family Tomb

We were pleasantly surprised to find this was the weekend the parades started.

Drinking may also have occurred..

Thanks for looking.

and the CBD. I am frequently stopped by tourists asking for recommendations for good restaurants.

I am always polite and try to be as helpful as possible, but as I walk away I always think to myself "Jeez, throw a rock in any direction and you will find great food."

From the grilled oysters at Drago’s, to the rather spicy shrimp PoBoy at NOLA PoBoy’s it was ALL good.

I'll be visiting New Orleans in April after too long of an absence, you've definitely whetted my appetite...

Travel safe!
