Just finished a DIY project!

I installed some brand new electrical outlets. I'm pretty proud of myself, because I know nothing about electricity. I used some common sense to figure it out though. It's really not that hard...just attach some wires to some screws.

There is smoke coming out of one of them, but just a little. I'm thinking that it is just the Home Depot price label burning off from the electricity, so I'm not going to worry about it.

I'm be more careful next time and make sure that I take the price tag off.

Tomorrow I install a new circuit breaker box!

It's just a pure flame now. It will be alright in a few minutes.

White (insulating cover) to bright (screw or connector)
Black to brass
Green to ground.

I have installed many sockets and switches in my old house. It has never failed.

He was Delmer and his birthday is Jan 26, I'm Oct 26. My Mom didn't want to name me Delma so she created Delmette. Yea, Mom!

I loved working on my home projects with him.
