HEY LOUNGE!! Its a very hot day in my neighborhood...TODAY!
On HOT DAYS, what is a "COOL" MAIN DISH worth serving for Lunch and or Dinner?
I may have to settle for Sashimi, today..at least its not hot. WHATS YOUR HOT DAY GO TO DISH when its too hot to cook??

My favorite ingredients are lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, sometimes raisins or walnuts, and for protein, sliced up ham. And your fav salad dressings, of course.
Of course you can use whatever your favorite ingredients are......but it's great on a hot day, when you don't want a hot kitchen or anything else!

Sometimes being in California is like living in the desert!!! Where is that ocean breeze when needed?
Also like a salad of mixed greens and tons of vegetables and tossed with robust olive oil and white balsamic vinegar. Fresh ground pepper and Himalayan salt.
It was below 0 degrees F this morning in Vermont. 
I've been trying a few different Italian ice recipes the past few weeks:

The pineapple recipe is pretty good as shown. The strawberry recipe seems a little weak - I think I'll try it with 1/3 less ice next time.
