(2,275 posts)I saw the same interest in nature/animals/ecology happen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the 1990s throughout the Immersionist arts scene. Tapping into our "animal energies" can be very erotic and powerful. The Immersionists catalyzed a kind of cultural reboot which shifted attention away from Manhattan's avant garde towards Brooklyn.
