If youre away from home tonight, where are you? How far away are you? What prompted your journey?
I am in Miami, FL - around 1400 miles from home. I came here for a job interview. Until last week I never thought Id be spending today in Florida.

It sucks, because I think I left the air conditioner on, so my electric bill is going to be huge when I get back.

(62,444 posts)I am allowed to give you the passphrase to use during the interview.
Just say, "I prefer to work naked when possible" during the interview, and we will allow you to return home.
The worst part now is - that's all you're going to be thinking about during the interview.

(8,053 posts)I was born and raised in Texas but have lived in California most of my life. I've known this friend since second grade and she's a wonderful progressive. I've been here since mid-October (with the exception of two weeks in December for Christmas) and am homesick for my Pacific Ocean city of Redondo Beach.... However, Dallas is actually a very nice city and I've enjoyed it here.
