(25,816 posts)My kids are grown and gone now, but 'back when' I was offered a large skateboarding half
pipe. It was in several sections and it took quite a bit of work to get it assembled.
Each section took six guys to carry.
Platforms on each side about 6 feet high with steel grinding edges.
Then my son invited all of his buddies. I was pretty nervous.
Luckily, there were no injuries besides the scuffed knees and elbows.
After about six months one of the other kids dads took it away.

(14,275 posts)That reminds me of how my daughter played when she was little. She liked to pretend she was a teacher. She would do lectures for hours explaining things she was interested in while all her stuffed animals were her students/audience. Now she's all grown up and teaching college classes.
I can see this little girl being a world class athlete someday. The stuffed animals were priceless.
