BREAKING: Place Christopher Cross taken away to by sailing not actually where he heard it could be

OKAY, I admit it.

It's Saturday night and I wanted to write a clever post title, and this may not be it. It felt clever in my head, but by the time I saw it on the screen it felt more like stupid. But in the belief that to be great is to be misunderstood, I posted it anyway.

Also, there's a good chance that with the age demographic on DU, some of you may be saying "Who's Christopher Cross?"

But for the DUers who DO know who he is, this one's for you.

There was no getting away from it at the time.

The ultimate Christopher Cross moment came at the hands of SCTV and their spoof of Michael McDonald's guest vocals on "the other" Cross hit, "Ride Like The Wind."

The McDonald bit starts at the 8 minute mark.
