(19,571 posts)our cat Spatzy just urinated on my gym bag.
Now my bedroom smells like Spatzy.
He is scheduled for a neutering in a week.
His revenge, I swear he had an evil smirk on his face. (I caught him.)
He thinks it's funny.

(4,492 posts)I was in high school and had two kitties at the time. I go to put my shoes on to go to work (weekend job at a movie theater-- special all black sneakers to meet dress code) and one of the cats took a dump in one of the shoes.
I have no idea who did it but there were some swear words. I had to wear heels that day.

(19,571 posts)the video was posted because it is funny.
Part of what makes cats fun is their unpredictability.
Dogs are for people who want to be worshiped as a God.
Cats are for people who can handle a God sitting on their chest at 4 a.m. demanding a sacrifice.

(1,474 posts)Anyone of us who have been around cats enough can empathize. Love them, but Damn, they can be fucking assholes. Kind of like me, I guess.

(15,805 posts)Neither of my cats like music, they actually cringe and leave the room. You have to expect their innate curiosity and agility will cause... well, certain problems, but that same behavior is also a source of endless amusement for their keepers. I try to anticipate their behaviors to minimize the unwanted effects. You know, normal things like no wiggling your toes under the covers when the cat is watching, or no relaxing bubble baths until the cats are secured in another room and the door is closed. No hand blown glass geejaws... ever.

(17,443 posts)I was changing planes in Frankfurt, Germany, where they had you grab your luggage from a cart outside the plane and place it on another to be loaded onto your new flight. As I carried my bag past three heavily armed security men and their dog, the dog expressed interest in it. It didn't alert, it just seemed intent on sniffing it. I opened my bag so they could look in it and the men started laughing. The bag reeked of stale cat piss. My cat who didn't like me traveling had made her point and the 12+ hours of travel had allowed the smell to ripen.

(17,443 posts)The hotel in Bremen saw to it my bag and clothing were cleaned. Fortunately I had fresh outer clothing and one change of socks etc. in a garment bag. Seven days later when I arrived home I had forgotten the hassle and was treated to a five minute you are home dance followed by normal behavior as if I'd never been gone.
She is long gone, but was the best one of many.
