was a wayfarer long before the MeToo movement. She deserves praise. When I saw her name, I immediately began singing...where the boys are, someone waits for me...

would've been married except her father was against him I think. She was an enormously famous and popular singer and recorded some great rockers too like 'Lipstick on Your Collar'

most deserving artists not in the HOF. They make mine but i think most just assume they are in.

An equally interesting question is why is Jerry Lee Lewis not in the Country Music Hall of Fame???

can put a tear in yer beer as quick as anybody. Best boogie woogie, rhythm and blues, country and western and rock-n-roll piano pounder ever to hit the 88s. I don't sign many petitions but I signed that one.

BTW Linda Gayle Lewis (JLL's Sister) and Annie Marie (niece) are among the other acts i'm seeing next weekend! Gonna be a whole lotta shakin' goin on brother!

I’ve got a rather unique connection to Mr Lewis, and I can tell you he is equally perplexed! While he is quick to point out his rock success as an innovator and founder of the genre, he is just as quick to highlight his “country years”, which have been critically lauded, but not acknowledged by the CMHoF.

country. He's one of the all time greats and yet highly underrated. Best piano player of all time in my book.
