https://www.gofundme.com/emergency-service-for-my-bestfriendFrom the dog's owner:
"Cupid is our family's heart and my best friend. His heart is big and his love for everyone around him.. on Sunday he suddenly became ill and started vomiting and had to be rushed into the emergency room. Payed $2300 dollars already in cash and we don't have enough money for the rest of his treatment that he desperately needs to save his life. Please help us.. any donations are greatly appreciated .. forever grateful for any help. Donations can be called into VCA south shore (weymouth) Animal hospital. Donations are to cupid white. Account number 250476 and the phone is 781-337-6622 his care is time sensitive we are praying for a miracle thank you!"
This poor dog has a blockage and will die unless they can raise some money. If anyone here can help, it would be highly appreciated. The longer they wait, the higher the ER bills go They need to raise roughly $4,500. (photos of bills to date can be found at link).
Thanks to all!

(17,622 posts)..worked with her for a long time..using manipulation and something like cod liver oil. She passed her blockage and he showed me what was in her stools.... rock hard like cement! ( she ate the horses hay cubes and blocked her)..also corn cobs will cause this. Maybe the vet can work on her and save the cost of surgery. I will certainly pass this along on twitter tho...its a good cause.

(24,753 posts)My understanding is that the dog did get the surgery, through this and other sources. They are still trying to repay the costs, so donations are still appreciated. I'm trying to get updates on how the surgery went and will share them as soon as I get them.
Thanks again!
