My good friend and Army buddy, GGJohn, has passed from cancer.

I posted this in the General Discussion forum but I thought I would post this here also.
He was a prolific poster here on DU until the cancer just became too much for him.

He was my good friend and comrade in arms and will be missed.
RIP John.

Condolences to his family and to you and his other friends. I remember him but didn't realize he hadn't posted here for some time until I looked at his profile.
