Perfect Xmas for such a shitty year. I still feel happy, though. Both my boys are healthy and home w/me. I have med. insurance which is paying for my Z-pack. I'll probably feel much better by tomorrow. Think I'll take yet another nap now.

was one of my 'favorite' illnesses for my kids because it's SO curable.

2. True. I can't do pcn so I'm on Zithro instead.

Zithro is overkill for strep but you don't have to take it as long. My throat is feeling better already, I'm just so darn achy. I don't remember being this achy w/strep before. I think I slept for twelve hours yesterday. As soon as I got off work I went upstairs to the ER because the primary care clinic was closed. The rapid strep test usually takes a few minutes for results but mine was positive immediately, so I'm wondering if I'm heavily colonized. Resting sounds good. I'm watching Netflix and dozing.
