When overpumped (as any self-respecting boy does as a matter of course) that sucker was downright dangerous.

I remember my mom getting so pissed when I cut down the (plastic) stock into a pistol grip. Kids are stupid.

8 year old an AR15, although they claim to keep it locked up except when an adult is around.

You know that, of course. When I'm not on my phone I'll post photos of dads and their 8 year olds with their precious AR15, since you claim to be unaware.

8 year old with an AR-15. Just asking if there's any evidence that dads are buying their kids those guns for Christmas. Because that's what you said, and if you were engaged in hyperbole then fine, but just trying to understand.

Do you agree with me, are you supporting Hoyt's claim that AR-15's are the go-to gift for dads everywhere this year, or just attacking me for asking for some sort of evidence?

What a horrible memory!

A few years later I bought a guide book and took up serious bird watching.

He nearly shot his brother's eye out when they were kids.

Besides that, as "liberated" as my Dad was about most women's issues, I doubt he would have considered allowing one of his daughters to have a BB gun. Cap pistols were ubiquitous and I did have two of those.
