The Newfie I’m asking him what happened to my bagel with cream cheese and the two eggs. We were sitting on the couch together when I heard the trash guys coming. And the last two weeks they failed to get the recycling, so I headed out the door to make sure they got recycling. And I came back inside and bagel and eggs were gone. The golden and the chocolate land shark their downstairs soaking up the heat from the wood stove. So now I’m getting pawed at come on man you can make us more.

I too, love to collect my thoughts while casting a Mepps, Rooster Tail or Kastmaster. My favorite place to be is walking the banks of mountain stream with my rod and my Border Collie!

Also, may I ask what part of the country you live in?

8. I'm on the West Coast in Washington State. I live on an Island that's ferry served.

I too worked lots of graveyards. Worked on those ferries as a union deckhand for over 30 years. Just retired with a State Pension (PERS).

I've done a lot of dumb things in my life but joining a union and working for the State Dept. of Transportation was NOT one of them!

Waiting for the sun to come up and then walk with my dog down to the pond to feed the trout and ducks!

9. Oh, yeah, casting a spinner and working it in a stream is heaven. I never even thought

about learning to fly fish. I do however, use a fly rod, with a spinning reel.

Haven't done it lately, but need to head out again.

17. My Newfie had a huge appetite...

After several tries of making bread without the help of a machine, I finally made two loaves of beautiful, perfectly baked loaves. The aroma was heavenly and I was waiting for them to cool a bit when the phone rang. When I got back to the kitchen, my Newfie was standing near the empty counter with crumbs on his face.
The thing with Newfies is that their faces are so adorable you can't yell at them; at least I couldn't. He knew he'd done something wrong because his head was hanging down.
I had to pretend to be mad at him for awhile.
