i broke out in tears at the art gallery tonight...

....because there was an exhibit by local school children about kindness!! 2nd-3rd graders wrote out an act of kindness on slips of paper and we were to draw one and abide by their wish. OMG I burst out crying! The teacher was there and I barely got out how she was doing a good job. These kids will save us. of course we will be dead but my grand children will benefit. There needs to be more of this!

Your reaction and the exhibit proves to me there is still kindness out there. It's tougher to find, but it's there.

I know your feelings well, as I always get a big boost each time I get to visit my daughter's fifth-grade reading class and when I enjoy my granddaughter's artwork.

They will build a brand-new world that would be alien to us, and I try to stay positive about their survival.

I work @ my local Boys & Girls Club and I can't tell you how awesome the kids are...No matter their economic situation or ethnic background, they are little shining lights.

I work in a primarily economically depressed vacation destination, and there are a lot of foster kids we work with as well. The love I receive from all of them on a daily basis is like a vitamin to me
While there's always a degree of the "wild kingdom" of it all... especially with the kinders who are just learning how to be little humans, they are definitely just little lovers!
