Anyone wait in line to start black Friday shopping yesterday?

Last edited Fri Nov 24, 2017, 11:01 AM - Edit history (1)

I just watched a local TV news piece about black Friday. Apparently it's "all about the bang for the buck" as one interviewee stated. Some apparently arrived as early as nine am yesterday at stores that opened at five pm. Some were there with the whole family. The draw was a 54 inch TV for $150 for one. Some brought their Thanksgiving "dinner" with them.

This seems so alien to me.

Today, I'm doing what I do every Black Friday: not buying a damn thing.

Why do consumers feel they have to fight the crowds to get the "best" deal right away? Sheesh, it's gross how some people behave.
