On Feb 12, 2013, Roger Hedgecock, right wing talk show host and ex-mayor of San Diego, warned his listeners about a "drone strike of an American citizen within the United States" and that "it's time to be very afraid." He then promoted a "nationwide rally to challenge the Obama usurpation, to challenge the dictatorship, to demand the restitution of a Constitutional republic." The "Day of Resistance" rally on Feb. 23 is being organized through the website theteaparty.net.

(34,857 posts)You know, it's amazing how free the people are to post their paranoid conspiracy theories. You'd think a real dictator would snuff that out and not allow any criticism of the government. It's fascinating how free Alex Jones is to do whatever the hell he wants - to say whatever the hell he wants - without being jailed or dropped inside a workers camp.
Dictator Obama would certainly not allow a "Day of Resistance" rally and if it somehow did manage to happen, you'd surely see an event similar to the Tienanmen Square protests which resulted in the deaths of many.
But of course, we all know Obama is not a dictator. We know this because people like Hedgecock are free to call him one.
