(27,617 posts)I guess Chris missed that Romney did hold a sign in support of the Vietnam draft - the draft he, of course, was excluded from because he was off in France as a missionary. But, Hell Yeah! those other guys sure better go!
That actually fits in perfect with what Tweety was saying.

(15,238 posts)If I recall correctly Todd suggested that Romney was going to give the Tea Party at some point what they most desire in an economic presentation. It appeared to me the entire MSNBC panel was smirking at Todd. When they cut to Matthews he was angry. Probably Matthews best rant ever. Romney is what I came to know in High School as a "prick". Chuck Todd is obviously a "toady". They would both be the same thing no matter their political affiliation. This was on many levels personal not political, and Matthews finest 5 minutes. By the way I am not a Chris Matthews fan.

(911 posts)He was right on target with this rant!
I think sometimes he is misunderstood because he is a fan of politics and not just a left talking head.

(12,882 posts)Mitt couldn't "relate" if he'd go "Undercover Boss" for a time. There's no WAY he could relate to the hopelessness, knowing he's got millions as a cushion.
