(8,244 posts)We should have a law that says the President can't assassinate anyone unless they join al Qaeda and declare war on The USA.
One problem is the President is claiming broad authority to assassinate US citizens based on things they have said in the past and without presenting any evidence. Also this authority extends to the United States.
So you see there is nothing in the secret policy that limits it to al qaeda people. It could be anybody, anywhere.

Keep in mind this is the same government who wants to kill food stamps and health insurance. The Republican part of it anyway.
How many deaths that will result is not being discussed.
How about some perspective here?

(30,058 posts)Besides this, the information probably should not be released on most of the strikes. I agree on if an American citizen joins with al-Qaeda they have given up rights.
