Right-wing fascists hate it when their bullshit is called out in a non-emotional, reasonable fashion, especially in public...

...pointing their plastic finger at me...

FZ and JMH had them pegged cold, starting half a century ago and still the fascist theocratic right wing arose, invisible to most Americans.

Is that the same John Lofton we often talked about here at DU about his writings about the Bush family? He was from Tampa, I think.

A great journalist, CIA man, and founder of Crossfire. Friends of fiends, yet a decent sort himself. The Agency, MOCKINGBIRD, and who knows what in Dallas.

The guy chronicled how the Bush family fortune arose by trading with the Nazis.

That Lofton guy in the video is a Moonie. His counterpart today is the smarmeister David Brooks.

"Loftus debacle

In March 2002, John Loftus compounded on O'Reilly's accusations by citing anonymous sources and filing a lawsuit that claimed Al-Arian used state-regulated organizations to launder money.[64] Al-Arian's defense team derided the lawsuit as a publicity seeking stunt and suggested Loftus needed mental treatment.[65][66] Loftus's lawsuit was summarily dismissed by the judge for failing to adequately show how Loftus was personally injured by Al-Arian's alleged activities.[65]"

Ike was my first best friend. He inspired me to take up electric guitar instead of acoustic and my musical life went on from there.

His musical life went on from here:

Ike auditioning for Zappa backstage at Washington University in Saint Louis.

This is where it went... "Joe" (of Joe's Garage) on stage in fine voice carrying on the tradition per Zappa's last request to Ike.

I met Ike at a Project/Object show in NJ spring 2011. Also with Ray White and special appearance by Don Preston and Bunk Gardner. I mentioned Dom and Ike confirmed. It's thrilling being a Zappa fan of over forty years and finally meeting people Frank worked with. I think Ike was the most well liked by Frank of all his musicians. A bit of a father son thing between them. mentor, brother, friend, all that stuff, according to Ike.

I later met Nappy Brock and Don Preston at a Grandmothers show at Infinity Hall in NW Connecticut. They both liked my WORST PRESIDENT EVER* tee shirt. Show was frigging awesome. Also Tom Fowler in the line up.

There's more anti-religious material in Zappa's body of work. I wish I could find the song online that features the words; "Tax the CHURCHES! Tax the businesses pretending to be churches....." Frank was coming down really hard on organized religion on his last tour in 1988 and I sometimes wonder if THE POWERS THAT BE sub-contracted "the Zappa problem" to CIA death ray assassins. Zappa perhaps made "the Washington Wives" look foolish during the PMRC debate. Two of the many Washington wives were James Baker's wife and Al Gore's wife. James Baker later quashed Vaclev Havel's appointment as Foreign Trade Secretary of Czechoslovakia. "Do you want to do business with the United States of America or do you want to do business with Zappa"? I can envision the BFEE deciding Frank must be "neutralized". Ike told me it was THE FIFTH DOCTOR Frank went to that finally diagnosed his prostate cancer. Wonder if BFEE agents got to the other four?
