(25,348 posts)Christ!...the guy can talk for an hour and say absolutely nothing.
I heard him this morning and he might as well of said "Concrete crocodile in a shoe-box leaving on a slow boat to China"
That's actually more intelligible than his interview.

(297,323 posts)There are 3 instances..
This is the First..
Cantor plagiarized Obamas speech with the intention of co-opting the presidents language. Eric Cantor wanted to attach the same stale Republican ideas to the language of Obama. A side by side comparison of the two speeches reveals the hollowness of this technique. Obamas speech in Topeka followed the language with examples and policy proposals. Eric Cantors speech was full of attempts to relate to the common man and families, but specific ideas were mostly missing. This omission was intentional. Cantor is only interested in changing the tone of the Republican Party, not the policies.

Cantor doesn't have an original bone in his body. he thinks his subjects are so dumb they'll follow him because he co-opts our popular President.

(6,169 posts)that trickle-down economics means "Piss on You". It took us about thirty years, though, so there is some hope that you can think up a new lie to get a lot of mileage out of.

(29 posts)In the past few years, it has simply become much more obvious what they really stand for, all the "kinder, gentler, compassionate conservatism" horse shit worn away like last week's lipstick. Even these experts at re-branding and reparative cosmetics cannot cover it up forever. Lying is a fundamental campaign tactic with these guys.
