The NRA's cheap-o pie in the sky "arm the teachers" solution is total bullshit. Putting armed guards in school isn't much better. So in order to shut them up, tell the NRA and gun owners that having someone armed (a professionally trained and paid security guard) in schools is a great idea and the only real way to solve the problem. Go along with their bullshit. Then since they are the one's causing the need, tell them they are going to have to pay for it - through a yearly gun tax. You won't hear anymore of this "guns in schools" crap once you tell them they will have to register their guns and pay for it.
