Therma Christmas Angel

The Christmas Angel gracing the lobby at THERMA Corporation in San Jose consists of a 16' tall aluminum tree substructure that supports 1,500 pounds of mirror finish stainless steel. The Angel stands 5' tall with custom stainless wings that raise and close as she exits and enters the automated tree. All items were designed and fabricated at the THERMA Sheet Metal Shop by members of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 104 representing members in the Bay Area and Sacramento Valley.

What they do in manufacturing is very practical, I am thrilled that she wanted to do this and the follow-through is fascinating. If I were a child, that angel would make a lasting impression.
