We could do it. The lady was right. What the homeless need is housing.
I would like to see a comparison of what is being spent on guns this year with what we would need to house every homeless person in America who wants to live inside. Now that would be interesting.

So once a year people go a little (or a lot) goofy on the decorations...electricity is wasted and a lot of junk produced. Still....compaired to the destruction guns provide, versus a little bit of light and festivity during the dark months, I really can't get to upset about the "waste" of holiday ornaments.
