(1,756 posts)However, unfortunately, we had no other alternative. About half of Congress is made up of millionaires and, frankly, all too many of them (and maybe President Obama) regard us as superfluous.
Funny that there has been NO discussion regarding national security/empire maintenance budget (Pentagon, war funding, the alphabet soup of intelligence agencies, etc.). Roughly, a trillion dollars goes to maintenance of American global hegemony every fucking year.
President Obama WON the goddamned election. The Rs are sociopaths and the more he gives in, the more the Rs want and take. The Rs simply DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING other than power: how to acquire it, how to wield it and, most importantly, keep it.
