Pakman hit the nail on the head with 'pro-life'. Life begins at conception and ends at birth, for these whack jobs.

That is how I would descrive "Pro-lifers." They think fetuses are to be made sacred, but people...not so much. It is ok to stab, bomb, or shoot anyone--even in church, as with Dr. Tiller--who disagrees with their cult. In fact, they consider such murders "doing God's work"--same mindset as Al Quaida. Yes, "Pro-lifers" literally have blood on their hands.

I consider the pro-lifers are dishonest bullies. They claim to protect unborn people they wouldn't want living on their street and with whom they have no relationship. And who'd they want nothing to do with after birth. It's the height of vanity to mandate life altering choices on strangers for which one refuses to take responsibility for being carried out.

The pro-life movement are besieged by the extremism of the far right and are very hypocritical of what they say they believe in. We see these extremist doing very vile things and they expect us to want to join them in their march. I thought that if you were pro-life then you were against any death or violence but I now know that I am mistaken. Where do the people who are out there at the abortion clinics and planned parenthood offices get their money ? They must not have any jobs or they are independently wealthy to be out there all day everyday tormenting people. I have yet to hear any GOP power maker standing up against this violent mayhem that they have put into motion. These people have no place in our society and should be placed under scrutiny by the justice dept.

Pro-lifers are more likely to support . . .

  • Capital punishment
  • An unlimited right to bear arms
  • US involvement in imperialist wars
  • Enviromental polluters
  • Cuts in the social safety net.

I rest my case.

That's where I grew up.

Edit: I just looked up the story in the internet. The guy is claiming self-defense. Given we are talking about Josephine Country it's pretty likely they won't charge him.
