Donald Trump's New York fraud trial has been underway for a few weeks. Because Trump is not required to attend the trial, some days he shows up and other days he does not. On the days he attends, he occasionally grumbles, he often stares angrily at the witnesses as they testify against him, but he remains silent for the most part. But then, as soon as the court takes a break, Trump steps into the hallway, looks right into the cameras, and starts lying about all things large and small.
