McCarthy is blaming Democrats for not voting to: 1) Keep him as SOTH, and 2) not voting for Gym Jordan to replace him.

OK, shoe on the other foot: If ANY Republican voted for Jeffries to be Speaker, that (or those) Republican would be monikered a "traitor," his/her funds for 2024 re-election would be cut off, s/he would be primaried, and perhaps his/her life would be threatned.

And McCarthy expects Democrats to assume the risk his party would refuse to take.
