Photos of "The Tent Incident" in Lansing Michigan 12/11/12
I was standing very close to the tent (second tent?) when it fell down. I heard a bit of a commotion, so I moved closer to see what was going on. There was one guy in a strange fur hat that was actually having normal conversations with people. He was saying kooky tea bagger stuff, but it wasn't a shouting match or anything. Of course there was his side kick who was filming EVERYTHING with a video camera "just in case" something happened.
Before, I saw the fur hat guy, my attention was drawn to this sign about socialism etc. It didn't take long for me to figure out that the group in no way advocated socialism to ANY degree. That's when I knew they were a fraud.
