Video of Fox News' Steven Crowder being assaulted in Michigan

I finally got the chance to watch the video for myself. I posted earlier about it. To break it down:
0:18: Man yells at Crowder: "Get the (muted F-word) out of my face!" several times. The segment showing this bearded man with the sunglasses only opens with the "Get the F out of my face!" Looks like Crowder did some CYA editing right here.
0:33: Crowder and another man walk up to two protesters, including a mustached man wearing a cap and black T-shirt over a blue collared shirt. Looks like Crowder is more than merely debating issues; seems he's aggressively confronting them.
0:38: Now watch carefully. This segment begins when Crowder is standing up, while the mustached man is getting back up. The mustached man starts punching Crowder, and another protester breaks up the fight. If I'd not noticed the mustached man getting up from the ground I would've thought the man just assaulted Crowder without cause. However, looks like another CYA edit, how else would the mustached man have gotten on the ground?

After the fight, a man is heard yelling: "I'll kill the (M-Fer) with a gun!"

0:58: Now the tent incident. Crowder is standing near a white tent, and a man in a brown jacket grabs Crowder from behind. Unless there's an edit I'm unaware of, this seems like a random attack. Then the video cuts to the tent going down. Read more about the tent here. A witness claims someone with AFP kicked the tent down to bait the union people into cheering. In other words: more agent provocateur BS.

So in conclusion: looks like Crowder got the attention and reaction he wanted. He knew what he was getting into, which was why he had to go up to everyone's face and be uncivil like that.

Oh, if you've ever seen the PBS kids' show Arthur, if you've seen it with your children or grew up watching the show, did you know that Crowder voiced The Brain?

off his face. Like others, I don't condone violence but when someone gets in peoples faces in a crowd of already angry people some are going to react with violence (verbal/physical).

7. The union member was clearly getting up from the ground when he IMMEDIATELY punched the tea bag boy.

Of course the video doesn't show how the union guy got to the ground, but he sure thought the tea bagger had something to do with it and that's why he immediately punched the guy when he got up off the ground.

on a few fronts. I think union people and Dems in general have reached the end of being nice to troublemakers.

... he just survived a very dangerous situation. And his ass was saved by the Union guys, themselves. He's one lucky little piss-ant. PsOS, that's all they are. Instigator's. Plants. Scum of the earth. A little too-well groomed, I'd say, too. He stuck out like sore thumb in that crowd.

But at the key moment where we emerge from the edit, the union person in question WAS on the ground and getting up. You can also hear, milliseconds before Crowder is punched, a voice says "that is assault." It's fairly safe to assume that the assault being referenced was the one that put the union member on the ground.

Obviously there was an edit here, and there must have been something that Crowder wished to edit out of the tape before he was punched.

13. Perhaps someone else recorded video of the confrontation

If so, I hope it reveals the provocation beforehand. Corporate media types tend to forget that ordinary people now have the means to easily capture their own video clips.

In my opinion he got off easy. He should have left on a stretcher.

Go in front of a bunch of working men and women who are getting their rights and
pay effected by rich out of state assholes and taunt them and see what happens to you.

BTW nice editing job and nice phony tent drop too.

I would love to see his smug ass try this shit in front of a group of workers w/out a camera
and Fox security people around him.

And why did "they" have to build a tent in the middle of where unions were protesting if not to cause
a problem.
