so their investments in mortgage-backed assets won't decrease in value while 700,000 people who are not rich will be taken from their homes before Christmas, the result of over 1 million foreclosures this year. (The percentage would be lower if we add the 0% interest loans being given the banks to profit from while 47 million people must eat from insufficient food stamps).
