(12,272 posts)Actually it is more pathetic and indicative of mental illness and fantastical/wishful thinking, so while it is still funny, it is just not in a LOL way. Let's name Romney secretary of letting the cat out of the bag, so all those loopholes and tax cheats will experience reform. That way he won't be a total loss as a human being.

Or how 'bout - just "secretary."
He could be Obama's secretary. Answering his phones, taking messages, making sure the President has fresh coffee, making sure all the office machines are in working order and the copier has plenty of paper in it. All the little unseen jobs that the Big Guy overlooks, but that are critical to the smooth workings of any office. Secretaries are overworked under-appreciated unsung heroes. I'm sure mitt has had an army of them. Shouldn't he have the opportunity to walk in their shoes? He's probably never had a chance to see how the other 99% - or even the 47% live. He's spent his ENTIRE LIFE at the top of the zigurrat, always the CEO, the chief, the chairman, the bishop, the owner, the sole partner, the boss man. Maybe if he spent some time in a genuinely subordinate position, it might help him become a more compassionate person. Because he has NO clue how anyone below the top level lives. Could open his eyes, maybe his mind, and maybe even his heart.
Glad you're here. We kick ideas around together like this all the time. It's a GREAT place to be!

(53,661 posts)According to Wikipedia, he has refused to run for office due to the problems he got into, but he's got an active public life otherwise. I cannot find any contact information for him googling, not even when going through the Current TV site.
Your main problem here is not lack of evidence or knowledge, certainly, but political. I'm glad that Politicusa took on the fight, but don't think Huffington Post would be. I applaud your diligence, and believe corporate media will do all they can to suppress this.
Did you see my suggestion on talking to unions?

I've reached out to the Union entities following me on Twitter - to no avail!

They go to D.C. frequently to plead their case and know a lot of people. I will attempt to show them the links to your stories and see if they will take it up. although it is not the kind of thing they usually do.
I am not hopeful but it is all I can do. Most of the people I know are in public unions, but service and retail unions are merging with some of them. I don't want to get your hopes up but I'll contact them this next weekend.
Disappointed to see that Spitzer didn't do his part. This cabal you are up against are very well-connected. A good deal of what was done was so obviously illegal. I'll get back to you in a week.
A FEW IDEAS: Have you contacted Democracy Now with this story? They did some on Sheldon Adelson and might be willing to get something going. And there is always Michael Moore or Greg Palast.

(64 posts)I think the photo shows a total lack of class for those of us that supported Obama in the election. A blessing Romney lost as it would have been a disaster for the country. One we may never have recovered from. But I hope as Democrats/Liberals we are above this.
