If we're honest about it, wasn't Hostess just a big nasty overpriced sweets pimp that screwed its workers? And with Little Debbies cornering the ghetto snack market anyway, wasn't the company doomed no matter what?

it helped contribute to the crappy ass diet of America, along with the obesity & diabetes epidemic.

Parents - uneducated and/or lazy - bought that sh*t for their kids, putting them on a road towards heart attacks, stretchy pants, and insulin. (Not to mention alack of a sophisticated palate.) A bunch of sugar, fat, and chemicals designed to look "tasty" that pretty much tasted like cardboard covered in sugar and fat.
