The video below includes language that is not so safe to play at work and is something you really dont want your kids to hear.
A certified U.S. Postal delivery in Hingham, Mass., went horribly wrong when a woman believed to be named Erika Winchester signed for a collection letter she later realized she wanted to refuse. Winchester demanded the confirmation card she signed back and when the USPS mail carrier refused, he was berated with racist verbal attacks.

(1,309 posts)If this happened 2 yeares ago and was posted then why do we post it again as if it just happened? It is obvious that racism hurts so many in this country but we must guard against misleading people into believing something just happened. That would be much like the layoffs at Murray Coal being blamed on Obama. Lets not be like the repugnants. Please provide proof of when this occurred and that the driver was fired.

(10,597 posts)I've heard of Postmen being attacked by dogs or wild animals before, but never by mean-ass women. I don't know what happened after the camera stopped, but I hope she didn't get even more violent and actually maim the guy. For all we know, she had a gun in her pocket. He was probably following policy by not taking the letter back. I receive mail that doesn't belong to me and I just put it back out for the postman to pick up the next day. The reason she was so upset is because that registered or certified letter was a legal document of some sort, like a summons to appear at court, etc., etc. Isn't it a Federal Crime to attack a Postman?
