lasts a day, sometimes two days. It is something like being under bombardment for that whole period of time. Imagine the worst thunderstorm you ever lived through and imagine that going on for two days, and always with the threat of tornadoes. That strikes fear into everyone, even New Yorkers.

Either it's an unfortunate edit, or someone's got a macabre sense of humor.
