If crApplebees' does not want to maintain its franchise,I'm sure some other local restaurant will gladly step in and take his business.
If he intends to keep the same level of business, then he was lying about "efficiency", since that would be the definition of doing the same amount of work with less employees.
I think the real theme here is that :" we are the 1%. Do what we say or you will get punished. We did not give you permission to vote for Obama. How dare you! Now you all must pay!"

Of course, he is a slave to his company; therefore, after all his bluster, he will do what is right for his business.
If he did actually cut back when there is demand for his product, He would be the 2nd worst CEO ever. Right after the guy who sold Donald Trump his hair.
