They've never given up on protecting the rich, and with control of the house, and the members there beholden to the Tea Baggers, the likelihood that they'll give up now is nil.

We're looking at two, or four years more of gridlock. Nero fiddled while Rome burned. The Rethugs are going to diddle while America sinks.
